Jorge Sánchez López was born in Madrid. He started to write poetry as a child, and came back to literature at the age of thirty. After training as a psychologist, he read English Studies in Spain. He has worked as a social pscyhologist, editor and training technician, and for some years he has been preparing teenage and adult students for Cambridge Exams at English Station, an academy located in Parla (Madrid). His published works include the poem books «Sentimientos o vasos comunicantes» (Andante, 2011), «Errática textura» (Celesta, 2013), «Aire y Ángeles» (translation of John Donne’s poems for Celesta, 2015). «Remontar la corriente» (Libros Indie, 2019) is his debut collection stories, which has been widely acclaimed among Spanish readers.

"Dry ice" is his first written crime and psychological thriller, which is coming out after « Nunca debiste atravesar esos parajes », a gripping FBI suspense novel set in Minnesota and Tennessee about the disappearance of several kids, was released by Seville-based publishing house Extravertida in 2020. He has also participated in local magazines and had a very active period in literary events of poetry and music in the Madrid scene, performing recitals with pianists and guitarists. His main focus is on stories which offer psychological tension and realism.
